We are a group of enthusiasts in Bremen who meet once a week to sing “Sacred Harp”. What is that? See Frequently Asked Questions.
The group was founded in 2011 and consists of dabblers with almost no musical background. Until recently, many of us have never sung before (except in the shower, causing the water to freeze). Regarding Sacred Harp we are all beginners; it still works. The only commonness we all bring along is that we enjoy singing together. If your first thought is “I’d love to, but wouldn’t dare”, then you’ve come to the right place, because we are not a choir in the true sense of the word, we don’t rehearse, we don’t perform.
